Record Label: Ambush Reality
Enter Shikari are the energetic equivalent of an imploding sun and their Christmas 2010 Hatfield show is the perfect choice for this special live CD/DVD release.
Much of the set list was tried and tested last year on occasions such as Reading & Leeds festivals and Live From Planet Earth emulates the sheer scale of their intense performance. It does this in a way which allows you to sit and savor the chaos, with no fear of being kicked in the face by one of their more ‘enthusiastic’ fans.
You need to be a seasoned Shikari fan to really enjoy all of the behind the scenes footage contained in this triple disc treat, but it’s a glowing beacon of achievements which provides an insight into how far the band have come. A fine example; Fizzy Water & Spiky Blankets sees the guys experiencing their popularity as far away as Russia.
Live From Planet Earth is a celebration of Enter Shikari and it certainly brings the fireworks.
